How it works

On request or permanently (depending on the eWON built-in modem), eWON makes a secure, VPN connection to the Talk2M web server using a UDP or TCP https port, passing through the firewall and proxy. On the other side, the user makes a secure VPN connection to the Talk2M web server. The Talk2M server acts as a relay to inter-connect the two VPN tunnels. The information exchanged during the communication is encrypted (SSL 128 bits) and only authenticated users can connect to the eWON.

The Talk2M client (eCatcher) is available and freely downloadable. The remote sites (eWON) must be registered to be accessible and visible within Talk2M’s user interface. Every machine or site is registered into one and only one Talk2M account. Once registered, a single click will generate the communication towards the remote site. Talk2M supports only a single concurrent connection. Talk2M supports different sites with the same IP address for quick and easy deployment.
